Huawei NetEngine NE20E-S Series Universal Service Router CR2M16BASA02 is the high end product line of NE20E-S series. It has 2 MPUs slots, 2 NSPs slot, 16 PICs slots, 2 AC power supplies and delivers up to 15.88Tbps switching capacity, 360Mpps forwarding performance. Huawei CR2M16BASA02 router runs Huawei propriety operating system VRP and uses Huawei-developed NP chips with hardware-based forwarding and non-blocking switching technologies to mainly serve as aggregation nodes on IP backbone networks, core node on data center network. The NE20E-S can be flexibly deployed at the access and aggregation layer of IP/MPLS networks and work with other NE routers to provide an all-around network solution for enterprise users, satisfying diversified service requirements in the future.
Huawei NE20E-S routers support various interface types E1/CE1, POS, CPOS, GE, 10GE, and 40GE and high-density fixed ports to provide access and aggregation WAN services as well as Ethernet multi-service transmission platform (MSTP) aggregation services, satisfying various service requirements. It provides reliability protection at different levels, including the equipment level, network level, and service level. The NE20E-S also can provide a multi-level reliability solution that completely meets carrier-class reliability. The NE20E-S lays the foundation for carrier-class services with a system availability of 99.999%.
